The new issue of BlenderArt Magazine was just put online, which reminded me that I’ve been meaning to put up a short list of all the sites I go to for Blender related help:
First, the online Blender Manual. Usually my first stop when trying get my teeth into a new feature.
Second, the BlenderArtists.org forum. My second (sometimes first) stop for info. I try to check it weekly, if not daily just to keep up with all the new features, plugins, techniques, etc.
Third, for Blender news it’s Blender Nation, which usually gets at least a daily visit from me.
Of course BlenderArt Magazine, now on issue 14, a great resource, both free and interesting. I suggest anyone wanting to learn Blender read the articles whether you’re interested in their particular focus or not, it helps you to get a better understanding of what the program can do, which is probably quite a lot more than you would expect.
There’s also BlenderNewbies, which has a lot of tutorials, very cool, very easy to follow. I check this every other week or so, but it’s worth going through the archives if you’ve never been.
